This is your opportunity to visit a range of ancient monuments in the company of a qualified archaeologist. Your guide, Phil, welcomes questions (the more the better) and has a deep-seated enthusiasm for European prehistory. As a qualified teacher, used to working with young people, Phil, is engaging and entertaining! Unlike many tours, there is no set script. The tour depends as much on you as it does on your guide, meaning that each one is spontaneous and, hopefully, fun. Whether you have studied prehistory yourself, or you just have a passing interest in what all those old monuments are, Phil takes you on a fascinating journey. You'll also hear about some of the latest discoveries and research techniques which help add to our understanding of the past. Make sure you are flexible with your timings! This tour is scheduled to take around 3 hours, but it has been known to take up to 5 when the questions are flowing. Phil is entirely at your disposal for as long as the tour takes.
