Pass By: Avenue de Champagne, 51200, Epernay France

Do you know that the “Avenue de Champagne” in Epernay is called the most expensive Avenue in the world with more than 200 million bottles in more than 100 kms of cellars ?
What a chance to discover it ! I will also show you the superb mansions and places where Champagne Moet & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Perrier Jouet, Pol Roger … produce their champagnes.
This Avenue is a must-see Champagne UNESCO World Heritage Site in the city of Epernay who called the capital of the Champagne vineyards.

Stop At: Cramant, Cramant, Marne, Grand Est

Cramant is a village classified at the highest of the Champagne Appellation who is Grand cru in “Côte des Blancs” called the kingdom of Chardonnay in Champagne.
We will cross to reach several other Grand cru villages such as Chouilly, pass in front of the largest bottles factory of the region and by the famous “Chateau de Saran”, the ultra private property where the luxury LVMH group (who owns Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Krug ..) receives its biggest customers and VIPs as well as the “Montaigu site” dedicated to the champagne making of Moët & Chandon.

In Cramant * you will discover a family of independent producer/grower with explanation of the Champagne making process, a visit to their presse, winery and cellar and taste 3 different Champagnes.
*depending on the season and availability, this visit/tastings may take place in Hautvillers, the village of Dom Pérignon.

Stop At: Oger, Oger, Marne, Grand Est

We will pass through the village of Avize, very famous in the “Côte des Blancs” in order to reach another Grand Cru vineyard in Oger.

You will have the pleasure of discovering the cellars, the winery, the traditional Champagne presses, the barrels and a collection of old tools and champagne machines from this producer/grower family since 1864.
You will taste during a commented tasting of many Grand Cru Champagnes : 3 tastings per person or per couple you will share 6 tastings to discover the different “Blanc de Blancs” such as natural Champagne without dosage, rare Champagne from very old vines, vintage or even aged in oak barrels, special plots…

Do you know who Dom Pérignon really is ? you will be surprised by the real story … I will show you in the vineyards where all his experiments took place and where the first Champagne cellars he dug is located …. we will go then thank him in the church where he officiated during 40 years and where he is now rest forever !

Hauvillers is one of the most charming and famous villages in Champagne, it is called the “Cradle of Champagne”.
It is one of the few villages where UNESCO has classified its historic hillsides as World Heritage, famous for their Pinot Noir.
We will stop there to contemplate in the vineyards one of the most renowned panoramic view of the Marne Valley to taste the 3 very famous local spirits in Champagne : Ratafia, Fine of Marne and Marc of Champagne.
