Often referred to as the “cradle of Paris”, this neighbourhood is the city’s historic core. We’ll be learning about the early city during the tour and how a woman came to save the city from the threat of attack.
We will stroll past the Curie Institute, a centre of scientific study and research opened by Marie Curie back in 1920 and today also partly a museum devoted to the life and contribution of this incredible woman.
From the top of the so-called “Montagne de Sainte Geneviève”, the hill of the Latin Quarter, we can look down on landmarks such a the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Gaze in wonder at this impressive Paris landmark and learn the story of the first woman to be buried inside.
