The Picasso Museum of Paris is one of the largest museums of painting in the world and the only one in the world to present Picasso’s complete painted, sculpted, engraved, and illustrated œuvre as a precise record.
It is set in the magnificent Hotel Salé at the heart of the Marais district, and is entirely filled by an extraordinary collection of works by the Spanish master.
This museum has a refined style and is chronologically laid out around a magnificent staircase. You will travel through the 20th century, starting in 1895 and concluding in 1972, following the artist step by step.
The collection consists of around 5,000 works, among which more than 200 paintings, 150 sculptures, 100 ceramic pieces and 3,000 drawings and prints.
