It is also home to several important landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, which is located on the park’s southern edge.
In addition to the Eiffel Tower, other notable landmarks in or near the Champ de Mars include the École Militaire (a military academy), the Wall for Peace (a monument dedicated to world peace), and the Pont d’Iéna (a bridge that crosses the Seine River).
