The Fontaine des Innocents is a monumental fountain at place Joachim-du-Bellay in Les Halles in the 1st district of Paris. The square is sizeable and is a wonderful gathering place for Parisians. We’ll do our pre-gaming ice breaker in a an Afrobeats inspired bar in a busy street next to the fountain before proceeding with the tour to a different location. But wait, who are the innocents? This Fountain of Innocents once stood against the cemetery wall by the same name. Do you have any idea what lies beneath their feet? I guess we’ll find out…-:)
This open air theatre provides occasional free screening of different films but also allow seating positions which allow travelers to relax and enjoy the street view as well as the view of the place de la bastille monument
