As the tallest cathedral of France, Notre-Dame (Our Lady) of Rouen has been painted several times by Impressionist painter Claude Monet who loved recreate the sunlight variations on it throughout the day.
Inside the church lies many treasures, among which the tomb effigy of the duke of Normandy and king of England Richard Lion Heart, and other powerful medieval figures of Normandy and France.

Iconic belfry with its daintily crafted clock. While we’ll admire it from the lively pedestrian street that goes under the belfry, it will be possible for an additional fee to visit inside and climb up the stairs for a spectacular view of Rouen!
