Moulin Rouge, the famous Cabaret where the French aristocrat, painter and caricaturist Toulouse-Lautrec had a permanently reserved table, is a tourist attraction, which still contains today much of the romance of fin de siècle France.

The cabaret is known as the birthplace of the can-can, a seductive dance introduced by the courtesans, which has evolved into a form of entertainment and led to the introduction of cabarets across Europe.
