St Germain des Pres! the place of Parisian celebrities, place of JAZZ and multicultural, very marked by the Jazz after the Second World War with the writer “Boris Vian”, I can still offer you to relive this era in 2 emblematic bars of the district. More a wine bar, the most local in Paris where I spent some of the best moments of my life.
We are going to take a walking tour of the essentials of the district with an account of the history of the district which is linked to the history of Paris and the Kingdom of France.
Then we attend the Jazz concert and end up dancing to French music in my local bar.
Post 1st and 2nd World War, we can distinguish in the cafes “Le Flore” and “Les 2 Magots” great personalities like Picasso, Monet, Des Cartes, Simone de Beauvoir, Apollinaire, Camus, Matisse and the explosion of “JAZZ” with Boris Vian, several Jazz Clubs settled in the district.
