Stop At: Louvre / Palais-Royal, Louvre / Palais-Royal, Paris, Ile-de-France
The Louvre Museum is one of the biggest museums of the world with around 10 million visitors per year it is also where is the Mona Lisa.
We will stop at the square to see the glass pyramid and admire the architecture of this antique building.
I will tell you the history of the world-famous museum.

Stop At: Quartier de l’Opera, Place de l’Opera, 75009 Paris France
We will pass by the most beautiful building of the 19 century ( The Opera House ) commissioned by Napoleon III.
The Palais Garnier is the thirteenth theatre to house the Paris Opera since King Louis XIV founded it in the late 1660s, and this sumptuous place was built on the orders of Napoleon III as part of the great Parisian reconstruction project carried out by Baron Haussmann and was named after the architect Charles Garnier.

The Place Vendome in Paris is probably most well known as the square that is home to the fabulous Ritz hotel but is also home to retail stores, famous jewelers and well-known dress designers in couture, and in the middle of the square is one of the old monuments in Paris.

Stop At: Champs-Elysees, Avenue des Champs Elysees, 75008 Paris France
By the late 1700s, the Champs Elysees had become a fashionable avenue and the trees on either side had thickened enough to be given formal rectangular glades, which are known as cabinets de verdure. And it was at this time that there were large impressive houses and buildings that were erected with impressive gardens and landscaping that made this avenue even more prestigious.
One of the most impressive and elaborate buildings along the Avenue des Champs Elysees was the Hotel de Crillon, which was a very popular haunt for royalty and French aristocracy and this impressive hotel is still there today. In fact, Queen Marie Antoinette used to be taken to the Hotel de Crillon along with her friends to have music lessons.
But there is still more to the history of the Champs Elysees, as in the year 1828, the Avenue des Champs-Elysees officially became the property of Paris and it was at this time that footpaths, fountains, and even gas lighting were added.

We will stop at the Champ de Mars to see the Eiffel Tower, it has become the icon of France and a major tourist attraction in Paris which has had well over 200 million visitors since it was first opened after its inauguration on the 31st of March 1889, with around 7 million people still visiting this landmark in Paris every year whilst they are on holiday in Paris.
When you look back at the history of the Eiffel Tower, you will find that the original idea started out as a competition to build a structure for the 1889 Universal Exposition to commemorate 100 years since the French revolution and this Paris monument was only meant to be a temporary structure that would be demolished after a maximum of 20 years!

You will find the Pont Alexandre III the most elegant bridge over the River Seine, and many class it as the most extravagant in Paris with as many artists as ornamental features being used on this historical monument, which was designed and constructed for a World Fair in the capital city.

Located on the Left Bank of the River Seine, the Musee d’Orsay is one of the museums in Paris that has a diverse collection and starts where the famous Musee du Louvre Museum finishes, as its collections dated from 1848 through to 1914.
This national French museum only opened in the December of 1986 in a former railway station and the history of the Musee d’Orsay building, in itself now classified as a historical monument in Paris, is just as fascinating as the collections inside.

We will ride at the Ile de la cité and will see Notre Dame It is with great sadness that we have to say that the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is not accessible to tourists, worshipers and pilgrims at present, due to the devastating fire that occurred on the evening of 15th April 2019, which you can read more about on the history of Notre Dame and a little below. Yet you will be pleased to know that this famous monument and edifice is going to be rebuilt and fully restored over the next few years, meaning that it will still be around for future generations to enjoy.

At the Marais, we will eat a delicious Falafel or Shawarma which is one of the best and most popular streefood in Paris The Place des Vosges is one of the beautiful and historic squares in Paris that dates back to the 1600s and it is one of the popular places to visit with it being home to many art galleries, gourmet restaurants and the Maison Victor Hugo.
