In this 2-Day tour, you travel to the city of Lisieux by train from Paris, starting at Saint Lazare train station; you will receive special assistance.
On arrival to Lisieux, you will meet your guide for a full-day walking tour to visit the places related to the saint: Attend the 11:15 mass at the Carmel, have Lunch in the Hermitage, Visit “The Buissonnets” her childhood home, discover the beautiful Basilica built in her name and the Cathedral where she used to pray. You will spend that night in Lisieux at the Herimtage
The next day you will have free time for your personal prayers and contemplation (Breakfast, Lunch at the Hermitage).

11.15 – Attend the mass at The Carmel
Pilgrims can come and venerate the remains of St. Thérèse in the Chapel of the Reliquary. Some of her remains have been inserted into the figure which represents her on her death bed.

The house “Buissonnets” is the childhood home of St. Teresa of Lisieux. Today it is a museum consisting of scenes describing the stages of the life of Therese Martin.

Visit the Basílica Built in her honor.
Saint Therese of Lisieux was beatified in 1923 and canonized in 1925. It was decided to build a large basilica dedicated to the pilgrimage in the city where she lived and where she died.
Preceded by a large forecourt, the monument stands on a hill, on the edge of the city. It is fully funded by donations and subscriptions from around the world.

Visit the Cathedral, where she used to pray.
The cathedral of Saint-Pierre de Lisieux is a monument of Gothic style which survived the 1944 bombings. The church visible today was built between 1160 and 1230, at the initiative of Bishop Arnoul. Bishop Pierre Cauchon, who is known for investigating the trial of Joan of Arc, is buried there as he was appointed the bishop of Lisieux in 1432.
