2. MOST POPULAR Option “SIGNATURE” with tastings of Moët Imperial et Grand Vintage Champagne.
The itinerary includes Church visit in Hautvillers where Dom Perignon was buried. Short stop at Viewpoint over vineyards & Marne river completes Your impressions.
P.S. Please pay attention that Moet et Chandon is not always available for the BASIC Option “L’Imperial”. In this case we will offer You a more expensive Option or another Grand Champagne house. All updates/changes are to be confirmed by travellers.

07:30 Hotel Pick up and departure destination Champagne region. The ride takes about 2 hours (140 km) and one part of it goes along the picturesque Champagne landscapes and vineyards. One stop at a rest area will be made.

10:00 – 10:45 visit at one of the local family producers Champagne Tribaut, Gobillard or similar. Tasting of 3 Glasses of Champagne with explanations.
10:45 Departure to Epernay (10 km). It takes about 15 minutes.

11:00 – 12:30 Arrival in Epernay. By Moet et Chandon we offer English guided Cellars tour and tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne. We offer two levels:
BASIC: Experience “L”Imperial” with tastings of Moët Impérial and Rosé Impérial.
MOST POPULAR: Experience “SIGNATURE” with tastings of Moët Imperial et Grand Vintage.

Moet et Chandon is the world’s biggest Champagne producer. Every second one bottle of Moet et Chandon Champagne is being opened.

12:30 – 14:00 Lunch break in Épernay. We can make a good local restaurant reservation or You can spend time of Your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.
14:00 Departure to the Pressoria Museum in Ay village. It takes just 10 minutes (4 km).

14:15 – 15:15 Pressoria Museum self-guided visit. You will learn the History of the Champagne region and the Method of Champagne production including tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne.
15:15 Departure to Hautvillers – a small historical village on the top of the hills. It takes about 10 minutes (6 km).

15:30 – 16:00 The Abbey’s Church of Sindulphe d’Hautvillers self-guided visit. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Short stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river.
16:00 Departure to Paris. It takes about 2,5 hours depending on traffic (135 km).

18.30 Coming back to Paris. Drop off at Your hotel.
