Day 1: Paris – Chablis – Beaune – Colmar

08:00 Departure from steps of Opera Garnier in Paris, destination Chablis. Pickup service from your hotel if option booked.

The guide will welcome You and the trip begins. The guide will give you general information about the French history connected to Burgundy.
There are approx. 190 km to drive on a highway from Paris to Chablis. It takes in general around 2,5 hours.

10.30-11.30 Arrival in Chablis village. Wine tasting in the winery «Domaine du Chardonnay»*. 9 Chablis Grand CRU wine tasting for a surcharge on site of €30 per person. The Domaine du Chardonnay runs a vineyard of 34.5 hectares. The Chardonnay is the king of the variety, it allows to produce in Chablis, four different appellations such as Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru.

15.15 – 16.00 Visit of The Hospices de Beaune (Hôtel-Dieu) – a former charitable almshouse founded in 1443 as a hospital for the poor (Tickets included). The original hospital building is one of the finest examples of XV century Burgundian architecture and one of the best-preserved renaissance buildings in Europe.

Stop At: Patriarche Pere & Fils, 5 rue du College, 21200, Beaune France
16:00 – 17:30 Wine tasting with a professional sommelier of Burgundy wines in the cellars «The Patriarch and sons» (extra charge). The Caves Patriarche are located in the center of Beaune. The 5 kilometers of tunnels that make it up run under the city and make it one of the largest cellars in Burgundy. It’s also a place full of history, founded in 1780, located in the former convent.

17:30 Transfer from Beaune to Colmar 260 km (highway). It takes 2,5 to 3 hours.

09:00 Transfer the 12th century medieval castle O’Keninsburg. Inspection of the castle. Entrance tickets to be paid on spot. It takes just half an hour on national roads.
