C’est ici l’empire de la mort”, or “Stop! Here lies the empire of death”. In this eerie empire, you’ll encounter the remains of such dignitaries as Rabelais and Robespierre, among more than 6 million other former Parisians. Our tour includes a guide who will give an introduction commentary before the entrance and an audio guide that you can use during your visit. You will receive your ticket and the Audio guide from our guide who will meet you at the meeting point. Our guide will give you an introduction about the Catacombs, but will not interfere with your tour down there. The guide will lead you till the entrance and say goodbye then you can enjoy the tour in more privacy and on your own pace.
