We will start with the old town, the heart of Nice and its narrow streets, its famous flower market with a thousand colors and perfumes, we will climb to the site of the old castle which protected the city in the Middle Ages.
We will make a stop at the Russian Orthodox Saint Nicolas Cathedral which is one of the largest in Europe.
Then we will end at the Roman site of Cemenelum. Today it is a park full of olive trees with Roman ruins and a coliseum where families from Nice come on Sundays to picnic and play pétanque. We will share a “traditional picnic” with local specialties with introduction to petanque.
