If you love fine wine experience a special private daytour visiting some of the best vineyards of Châteauneuf du Pape, including a family-run estate, cultivated for 600 years by descendants of Pope Urbain VIII – world class wines. The village of Châteauneuf du Pape is the heart of a region full of history. A magical place that appears on the hill rising out of a sea of vines. At the summit the ruined château built by the popes in 14th century as a summer residence to escape the city heat of Avignon. The popes planted the town’s first vineyards.
