Why choose this Marseille tour ?
Provence – Mont Sainte Victoire in search of Cézanne, discover the unique vineyards of the Provençal landscape.
This is a great day out for lovers of fine wine and looking to discover the unique Mont Sainte Victoire wine region. Leaving Aix-en-Provence, we head south through the national park – Mont St Victoire, a symbol of Provence rises over 1000 meters behind the rolling landscape and vineyards close to the historic Provençal village of Puyloubier. First a visit to Château de la Galliniere & learn about the production and an opportunity to taste some of their finest wines. On our way, we stop off for a visit to Domaine de St Ser, a smaller unique bio-diversity wine producer. The vineyard is at the highest point sitting against the steep backdrop of the Mountain with its intense sunshine & dry arid mediterranean climate. A stop for lunch on the village square before our third & final wine tasting experience of the day – Domaine Terre de Mistral that produces both wine & olive oil.
