Marseille Trip Overview
3 great places in Provence.
Arles – St Rémy – Les baux de Provence
I’ll show you the city of Arles which has some of the best preserved Roman places in the region such as the amphitheatre & the theatre. Arles is also host to the International Photography Festival, a huge exposition with dozens of art galleries open from July to September. You’ll discovered the places Van Gogh painted like the hospital, the bridge (a place in the middle of nowhere ), on the river “Le Rhône” waterfront (by night), outside a café.
Next stop, Les Baux de Provence with its medieval castle high on a hilltop village just a few miles from Arles.
Our last stop will be St Remy de Provence, a very nice little city with a lot of handcrafts & souvenirs shops, Van Gogh printed paintings along the road.
A lot of different aspects of Provence. And the cherries on the top? Olive oils & wine & chocolate tastings!
