A relaxed day discovering the Beaujolais region and its scenic landscapes, talking to the winemakers and finally taste the different crus to understand how the Gamay grape thrives on the unique terroirs of the Beaujolais.
3 visits of wineries are planned during the day, two in the morning and one after lunch. We will taste 5 to 7 wines per winery and discover the different approaches to winemaking in the region (conventional, organic, biodynamic).
As a wine merchant, WSET3 sommelier as well as passionate about France’s culinary and wine heritage, I’ll be joining you on the day to discuss all the different subjects that the world of wine has to offer.
A private driver will be with us for the day. Mercedes Class E for couples and Mercedes Class V for party of 3 or more.
Different options for lunch to be discussed together (private lunch, masterclass on Beaujolais wines from the 1940s to the 2010s).
