Joigny Trip Overview
A 1-day discovery tour where you have the opportunity to drive one of our Morgan, 2-seater English convertible. You travel the roads of Burgundy off the beaten track accompanied by your guide (in his own Morgan) and go to meet the artisan winegrowers of the region. We offer you the possibility of visiting in a privileged way and sometimes seeing in exclusivity certain private domains. On the way, you will have lunch in an exceptional château prepared by one of our partner caterers. On your arrival you stayed at the Côte Saint Jacques, a 5-star hotel where you can enjoy the spa as well as the gastronomic restaurant of the hotel classified 2 * Michelin. You can also stay at Domaine du Roncemay, a 4-star hotel with a golf course.

Day 1: Joigny
Stop At: Côte Saint-Jacques, 89300 Joigny, France
Arrival at your hotel available from 3:00 p.m. Enjoy at your hotel before your day of Morgan road trip which will begin the next day. Take time to book a spa treatment or reserve a table at the gourmet restaurant.

Accommodation included: One night at the 5-star hotel, the Côte Saint Jacques & Spa or at the Roncemay estate, a 4-star hotel.
Day 2: Guédelon – medieval heritage
Stop At: Bourgogne Aventure, 5 rue des Entrepreneurs, 89300 Joigny France
Meet at the base to pick up your Morgan, vintage 2-seater convertible with mechanical gearbox, presentation with your guide, pastries and hot drinks offered. Safety briefing and instructions for riding in a convoy. Departure in convoy, each crew of two in a Morgan and the lead with their own Morgan. Possibility to buy driving accessories at our shop.

Stop At: Toucy, Toucy, Yonne, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte
Parking in the center of the beautiful town of Toucy on a space reserved for Bourgogne Aventure, visit of the country market accompanied by your guide. Possibility of buying products at the market.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Chateau de Saint-Fargeau, 89170 Saint-Fargeau France
Enter by the large gate of the park of the castle of Saint Fargeau, drive in the park, park your Morgan at the foot of this imposing castle and its ten centuries of history. Visit it accompanied by your guide. Stop to discover the astonishing station with these old locomotives parked in the park.

The castle of Ratilly, built in the 13th century, is open to you. Visit it, always accompanied. Once a landmark of looters and adventurers, today dedicated to the arts, especially to terracotta and songs. Then enjoy your lunch break in the castle in the shade of a lime tree or in the shelter of the castle’s dining room. Share your table with the potters and singers.
Burgundy wine tasting during lunch. Lunch consists of fresh seasonal products cooked for you by our partner caterer Bourguignon. You will be able to have it changed when booking.

Take a leap back, you are in the 13th century. Discover the medieval construction site of the Château de Guédelon, under construction using 13th century techniques, ask the builders and follow their explanations. Your guide will assist you during this visit. Possibility to buy artisanal products at the chateau shop.
