As soon as you leave Bordeaux, you will discover the green countryside, and the multitude of parcels of vines with evocative names. First, the parcels of the Entre-Deux-Mers between Garonne and Dordogne, then the appellations of Libournais, Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, Fronsac, and finally Saint-Emilion and its satellite appellations, Montagne-Saint-Emilion, Saint-Emilion Georges Saint-Emilion, Lussac Saint-Emilion, Puisseguin Saint-Emilion.
You will enjoy discovering these castles in the vineyards. You will be charmed by the beauty of this heritage, which since the French Revolution, has not stopped improving.
Stop At: Chateau de Pressac, 33330 Saint-Etienne-De-Lisse France
We will take you to visit one of the magnificent castles that make the Saint-Emilion wines famous. Grape varieties, de-stemming, vatting, fermentation, fining … you will know everything about winemaking, the different grape varieties used and the wines of blending. You will be able to see that the modernism of the cellars of today marries perfectly with ancestral techniques of work in order to give birth, each year to wonderful vintages, always having an affirmed temperament.
This visit will be concluded by a wine tasting of the property visited. During this tasting, you will be given precious care advice for your future purchases of Saint-Émilion wines.
During the afternoon, discover the pretty cobbled streets full of charm, the pretty medieval village of Saint-Emilion. Your guide will tell you the many anecdotes and adventures of his long and tumultuous history. You will discover how much the religious practice and the vine are mixed and complement one another. You will relive the history of France, which has made this village, an exceptional site classified World Heritage by Unesco.

You can stroll through the medieval village of the monk Émilion. The village located at the top of a hill, offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding vineyards. You will be able to appreciate the architectural richness of this heritage, which combines constructions made from the 11th century to the 21st century. You can admire the beauty of the hilly landscapes, covered with some of the most famous vineyards in the world. You will not resist taking out your cameras to keep a memory of these enchanting panoramas.
