Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vaucluse, Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur
Option 1. Departing Avignon, our private wine tour visit vineyards making top rated wines in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. From the chateau hill you have an outstanding view in all directions of vineyards covered with stony pebbles, which is one of the secrets of this outstanding wine. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre are the main 3 grape varieties used. On request we can visit other AOC areas like Gigondas, Vacqueyras, and Beaumes des Venise and on certain routes can stop at famous and interesting cultural sites.

Option 2. The best Rosé wines are produced in Provence especially the Côtes de Provence and Bandol. Grenache is the main grape base of all the various blends, which include Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Carignan, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The are 8 Provence appellations: Cotes de Provence, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence, Coteaux des Baux, Coteaux, Varois, Cassis, Bandol and Palette appellations.
