Xochimilco, Coyoacan and Frida Kahlo Museum Tour

1. Starting with Coyoacan, where several of the most important artists and historical figures in the country lived. You will have the option to see the house that Frida Kahlo lived in, this house-museum has been preserved and you will have access to the corners where the artist was born (choosing the "Frida Kahlo Museum Tickets" option).
2. Also, you will get to know the colorful floating gardens of Xochimilco, a place full of life and quiet where you will enjoy a ride in a trajinera (a type of flat-bottomed canoe).
3. Finally, you will visit one of the sites declared as Cultural Heritage of Humanity: Ciudad Universitaria of the Autonomous University of Mexico, known for its magnificent murals of Frida Kahlo's husband: Diego Rivera.

Kayak tour in Xochimilco
This tour is unique since you will visit the Xochimilco ecological reserve to appreciate the sunrise. A specialized guide will train you to use the kayak and will accompany you on the tour. The itinerary is as follows: First Laguna de Teshuilo, It is the first point that you can visit, of this lagoon that is recognized by the locals as the place of celebration during Holy Week.
Also to Isla de las Muñecas, second point where you can see the famous Isla de las Muñecas created by Julián Santana.
Lastly, Canal de Apampilco, this representative canal because it is one of the oldest canals and its tradition says that the Aplantles existed that give biodiversity to the Xochimilco wetland.
Throughout the walk you will see the traditional chimapas that were created by the Xochimilca civilization for the cultivation of flowers and vegetables. For an additional cost you can have a breakfast with local products.

Floating adventure in Xochimilco
The chinampas considered floating gardens of Xochimilco are among the last & unique in the world, designed by mesoamerican farmers, they were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.
