THE Lecce Food and Wine Tour will make you taste the typical foods and drinks of the city, during a detailed explanation of the cultural attractions. – We start with "Caffe Leccese" plus the typical sweet "Pasticciotto". – Explanation of Churches, historic buildings and squares. – Tastings of "Pizzi" and "Taralli" – Tasting of typical savory "Rustico" accompanied by a glass of Salento wine of your choice.

The experience is super relaxed, we start by sitting down and tasting a little bit of Portugal, while I give a brief explanation of what we're going to cook. Cooking while hungry is a bad policy. When we're ready, we put on our aprons and start the teamwork, under my guidance. Some of the ingredients are from my backyard, and I'll take you to see what they are… As we prepare the food, I'll tell some stories about the origins of the ingredients to be used. In the end, we set the table and sat down to savor all the dishes we've prepared. IMPORTANT: If you have any food allergies or follow a specific diet (vegetarian, paleo, vegan, etc …) let me know as soon as possible so we can prepare in advance all the ingredients needed.

In this Cruise, you can enjoy the landscape upriver from Terreiro do Paço to the fantastic Lisbon South Bay and also enjoy a meal in a typical local restaurant. Wine and light snacks will be served during the tour before lunch. Typical portuguese meal is included on your trip. This trip is for a duration os approximately 6h. We start at 10h00 in the morning, arrive Seixal at aprox. 12h30. The duration of returning back trip is 2h of pure relaxing. The minimum of guests for this tour is 2, we do it just for 2 people. You have the possibility to taking a guided tour in the vinification area and aging cellar with explanation of production processes, history and company philosophy. Not just wine! The guided tour leads to the discovery of an ancient brick kiln dating back to the early 1500s – past, present and future! It ends with the tasting of 6 wines, accompanied by a dish with typical local products: Cheeses, mixed Tuscan cold cuts, Crostini and Bruschette…come to discover a perfect combination between food and wine!

The tastings will take place even in case of bad weather, the tour will be carried out from the road and not directly on the vineyards themselves.

After visiting the property and the old cellar, the experience goes on with the tasting of 3 of our wines, paired with a typical “tagliere” made just by the local and high-quality products. A simple and pleasant way to understand our story and enjoy the classical tastes of Tuscany. One of the wines will be for sure the main of the region: Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, one of the most representative manifestations of Sangiovese grape variety.
