Wildlife and Glaciers with a walk in the Rainforest


This tour is a great way to experience some amazing sights of Alaska, wildlife, glaciers, and a rainforest within a half day. Your guide will pick you up from downtown Anchorage and drive along Turnagain Arm, which boasts abundant scenic views and Alaskan wildlife within easy access to the city of Anchorage. Along the way, you will learn many interesting facts about this area’s history, animals, and ecosystem from your experienced guide. You will visit the Wildlife Conservation Center, located at the end of Turnagain Arm and surrounded by mountain peaks. You will have the chance to explore on your own and visit the many animals in the center, including brown bears, wolfs, caribou, moose, and the endangered Woodland Bison. After the Wildlife Center, you will have the opportunity to see the majestic Portage Valley, a few miles drive from the Wildlife Center. Here you will enjoy several amazing viewpoints of glaciers, lakes, rivers, and a unique rainforest.

Curi-Cancha is a paradise for bird watchers. The resplendent quetzal, the three-wattled pavilion, the blue-crowned motmot, the orange-bellied trogon, and many others are frequently seen. In fact, more than 200 species of birds have been observed making their home in Curi-Cancha. Common sighting mammals include armadillo, coati, agouti, kinkajou, ocelot, two-toed sloth, and three species of monkeys: howler, white-faced capuchin, and spider monkey. Cleland Wildlife Park Experience – from Adelaide including Mt Lofty Summit

You'll discover more than 130 species of native animals while becoming immersed in the wonders of this natural bush environment. The tour includes talks by the park keepers, observe the koalas, kangaroo's, emu's and potoroos.


Anchorage to Seward Wildlife Adventure

Semenggok Wildlife Centre


This is the best place in Sarawak to view semi-wild orangutans who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve. The rehabilitated animals roam freely in the rainforest and often return to the centre at feeding time. There is a good possibility of experiencing one of the most heartwarming sights in Borneo – an orangutan mother with a young baby. The centre is 45 minutes' drive from Kuching.
