Wild Ponies

Departing Galway at 9 AM sharp, we will travel south along the stunning Wild Atlantic Way and through the Burren to the charming village of Doolin, where you'll board the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands. Explore the island’s ancient castle, sunken church, shipwreck, and beautiful beach. Enjoy a stroll through quiet boreens or hire a pony & trap or bike (extra cost). After departing Inisheer, your ferry returns to Doolin, followed by a guided cruise along the base of the Cliffs of Moher—an unforgettable view of cliffs rising 214m high and stretching 8km along the coast. Prefer not to join the cruise? You may disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group. We’ll enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal. We then spend an hour at the top of the Cliffs—enjoy a walk and stunning views from above. Once we depart the Cliffs we will take the coast road home, following the Wild Atlantic Way, arriving in Galway at approximately 19:30.

Driving along the coast of Clare, witness the power of the Atlantic Ocean as it battles the coastline. Board the ferry in Doolin for Inisheer, the smallest and nearest of the Gaeltacht Aran Islands. Keep an eye out for local bottlenose dolphins that occasionally follow the ferry. On Inisheer, explore ancient castles, churches, narrow lanes, stone walls and deserted white sand beaches.  The return ferry takes you on a guided scenic cruise beneath the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Returning to Doolin, you go to the top of the Cliffs of Moher where you can take a stroll along the Cliffs. Departing the Cliffs you return to Galway.

All of our private tours are led by a professional wildlife biologist. We will tour the park in a modern chevy suburban. Our goal is to view the most wildlife possible on your tour while also visiting the most ICONIC destinations in there park as well visiting many hidden locations that are off the beaten path. During our day we will see Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls (308'), lots of wildlife, large waterfalls, seldom seen geysers, and two historic hotels. We will provide high end binoculars and spotting scopes for the entire group so we can view animals or geysers that are far off the road! This will be an educational experience for your family/ group yet fun and entraining at the same time. Your tour will experience the wonders of hidden Yellowstone that's awaiting around each corner of Yellowstone National Park. For lunch we will stop for an incredibly scenic picnic style lunch along the shore of Yellowstone Lake!

This boat trip provides the best way to see the famous Asseteague Island wild ponies. On this 2.5 hour trip that will depart from the Ocean Pines Yacht Club we'll travel down the Assawoman Bay to Assateague Island. Children and Adults interested in nature and experiencing the beauty of the Bay will enjoy this trip. The trip provides something different to do while visiting Ocean City. Once the boat reaches Assateague Island, the captain will navigate around the backside of the island so you can see the wild ponies up close along with other wildlife including dolphins. You will be informed how to do this. On the day of the trip you will board the boat, meet your captain and the boat will leave the West OC Harbor. This grand kayaking adventure will take you to the most remote areas of Assateague Island. Most days we encounter the wild Chincoteague ponies grazing along the marshlands, but always remember these are wild animals and some times you see them and some times you don't. We know all the best locations to view the ponies so we do get to see them 75% of the time. We will also get the chance for some great photo opportunities of the Assateague Lighthouse, one of the oldest running lighthouses in the country. We might even get to see a few of the unique and rare birds migrating through Assateague Island.
