Surf Theory At the beginning of the surf course, you will get to know the characteristics of the waves, currents and tides. We leave Lagos in our comfortable vans listening to great music and enjoying ice cold drinks. We visit secret spots, off the tourist map and finish with a gorgeous sunset at the best lookout on the west coast of Portugal. On this trip you'll have ample time to explore the historic city of Lagos and see some of the Algarve's most picturesque points, including Sagres, the ‘end of the world' and Baleeira fishing village. Sheltering by a river mouth, the town of Lagos has a great location by the beach and within reach of all that amazing scenery. Get your culture fix with a tour of Lagos town, plus free time to enjoy the vibrant streets and cafés. Your guided tour takes in Praça do Infante to see Henry the Navigator's statue, as well as the building that served as Portugal's first slave market. Afterwards, you could choose to spend your time having lunch, shopping or exploring. Next, we'll visit Cabo de São Vicente, also known as the ‘end of the world' – Europe's most south-westerly point. Soaking up these views looking out over the fishing harbour of Baleeira is the perfect way to round off this tour.

We will visit the charming little spa village of Caldas de Monchique, with springs of proven medicinal properties. Following the winding road, we reach the highest point in the Algarve – Fóia – standing at 902m above sea-level. Downhill then from Fóia, crossing the countryside and stopping in the small village of Marmelete where you have time to enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants (included). After lunch we go straight to Costa Vicentina, to visit some magnificent beaches . Then it’s on to the ‘end of the world’ – Cape St. Vincent. Passage through Sagres, a typical fishing village and its sheltered fishing port.

We continue our journey with again small stops to enjoy the magnificent coastline toward our last stop at the end of the world known as Cape Saint Vincent the most south western tip of mainland Europe. From here we will make our way back towards Albufeira.
