Next step arrival by 4×4 bus to the Volcanological Observatory, from here short trek to the top of the promontory of Pizzi Deneri qt. 3,000 meters. where, in absolute safety, we will be dominated by the Summit Craters. From the volcanological observatory you will wait for sunset and then return to Piano Provenzana.

After a drive to Piano Provenzana, the Northern tourist station on Mount Etna, you will embark on a 4-wheels-drive bus to the highest point currently accessible to tours: the volcanological observatory at Pizzi Deneri, at a height of about 3000 Mts. You will be guided in this experience by an expert and certified volcanological guide, who will show you the characteristics of the activity of the highest active volcano in Europe while explaining the most powerful eruptions ever experienced here. After reaching the volcanological observatory, you will start a short walk to reach a panoramic point on the famous Bove Valley, always with a view of the summit craters in front of you. This tour allows you to discover reaching the top of Etna Volcano! Transfer by open-top bus or grand tourer. It is an exciting tour as it passes through small and typical municipalities of the area such as Calatabiano, Castiglione di Sicilia and Linguaglossa to reach Piano Provenzana. Having reached the refuge, at an altitude of 1810 m above sea level, with the help of our 4×4 vehicles, we ascend the north side of the volcano between ancient craters and recent lava flows. Arriving at the Volcanological Observatory, at an altitude of 2800 m, with our guides, we will reach the Pizzi Deneri area to admire the sunset and a truly extraordinary panorama: the summit craters of Etna, the Ionian Sea and the Valle del Bove. Upon returning, our journey will continue to reach a typical restaurant where you can enjoy a dinner based on typically Sicilian products and dishes. We will then return to our places of origin.
