Our first stop will be at the picturesque Village of Laneia; a walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses. Next stop will be in Troodos Square, in the surroundings of the pinewoods, you may enjoy a coffee break and wander around the stalls selling traditional products. Continuing up the mountains, we will arrive at the island’s most famous and wealthiest monastery, Kykkos. With its gold decoration, paintings and mosaics, the monastery possesses a precious icon of the Virgin Mary painted by the Apostle Luke. Following on the peak of the mountain, we will have the opportunity to visit the stunning Throni tis Panagias. Next, you will have time to relax and enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. After lunch, we will visit a winery for wine tasting. Here you can try a variety of locally produced exquisite wines. Lastly, we will stop at Omodos village; where you can visit Timios Stavros Monastery; the local bakery, try a Cypriot coffee made in the traditional way.

Our trip takes us through the picturesque Troodos Mountains, known for lush forests and fresh air. At the foot of Troodos Mountains lies Omodos, a charming village with cobbled streets and the Timios Stavros Monastery, home to a relic of the Holy Cross. Our route will pass through Pedoulas and Prodromos villages before heading to the famous Kykkos Monastery, founded in the 11th century. One of the richest monasteries in Cyprus, it houses the revered Virgin Mary icon, said to be painted by St. Luke. The monastery offers breathtaking views of the countryside. Nearby, we will visit the Tomb of Archbishop Makarios on Mount Throni (1,318m), overlooking Kykkos Monastery (1,140m). His final resting place offers stunning views of Cyprus and is a key pilgrimage site. Lastly, we will stop at a winery to taste Commandaria, Zivania, and other local wines.

Visit the central slopes of the Troodos mountains, which is a must on any visit to Cyprus. The tour takes us off the beaten track with our 4×4 Land Rover defenders. Stops are made in quaint picturesque rural villages to meet the locals and get to know more about Cyprus and it's culture, history and traditions. Breath taking mountain peaks are encountered throughout the duration of the day, cascading waterfalls, where weather permitting, guest can enjoy a refreshing splash in the crystal clear waters, fresh water lakes in the middle of nowhere. We stop at a family restaurant where you can enjoy a traditional Cypriot meze, in a beautiful mountain village. Last but not least, no day would be complete without a visit to a local winery. Travel by jeep to the Troodos mountains, with the opportunity to see the beauty of the wild nature of Cyprus and visit the main shrine of the island-the monastery of Kykkos. On the way to Troodos, we will visit the second largest dam in Cyprus – Asprokremos, and also, one of the four bridges of the Venetian era – Chelefos. We will taste the wines, and visit beautiful waterfall Chantara and on the way back, we will make a stop for bathing at the "stone of Aphrodite" where, according to legend, the goddess of love and beauty was born and went ashore.

On this relaxing sightseeing tour we’ll start with a visit to Aphrodite’s Rock, the fabled birthplace of the Greek goddess of beauty. Our path then takes us to the Kourion archaeological site. Visit the Roman baths and amble through the site’s centrepiece, the Greco-Roman theatre where concerts are still being held to this day. Moving onwards, we visit Kolossi Castle, a former Crusaders' stronghold. It was built in the 12th century and is historically known for the production of Richard the Lionheart’s favourite wine, Commandaria. We’ll journey on to the mountain-wrapped stone village of Omodos and enjoy a guided walk along the narrow cobbled streets before a visit to the majestic monastery of the Holy Cross, one of the oldest monasteries on the island. We cap off the day in style with a tour of a local winery where delectable wines will be uncorked for you to sample.

Rural Cyprus is at your fingertips on this whistle stop tour. The morning kicks off with first stop at Petra tou Romiou for photographs (available only for guests from Paphos town). Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace ‘Petra tou Romiou’ is an interesting geological formation of huge rocks along one of the most beautiful coastlines on the island. Then you will continue with a visit of Kourion–one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island. It’s classic Greco-Roman, with a half-moon of seats facing out to sea. Kolossi Castle is the next stop. This Crusader-era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Hop back on the air-conditioned bus and head to Fini village where lunch will be served at a local tavern. Next stop, the mountain-ringed village of Omodos where you will have a guided walk through the village. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Cyprus wine in a local winery before heading back to the resorts.
