First part of the tour: Walk with Penguins We will leave in a Bus traveling National Route N3 and Route J. Then we will sail 15 minutes to Hammer Island, where we will walk 1 hour alongside the Magellanic penguins and Papuans. Return to the city by bus. Second part of the tour: Navigation Beagle Channel We will sail through the Beagle Channel, where we can observe the Fueguin fauna on Bird Island and the Isle of Wolves, as well as the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. We set sail from the local tourist pier crossing the wide Bay of Ushuaia until we reach the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. There we will sail around the Island of the Birds where we will be able to appreciate the Fuegian avifauna. We will observe: Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Vapor Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls and Gray Gulls. Then, we will approach Isla de los Lobos where we will be able to observe sea lions with one and two hairs. Both islands belong to the Bridges archipelago. Arriving at Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (The Illuminators), we will be able to see the colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants while listening to the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes that he starred in 1930. We will make a descent in Puerto Karelo, belonging to the Bridges Islands, where you can visit genuine Yámana shell middens. This guided walk lasts approximately 20 minutes and concentrates us on a panoramic point where very good photographs can be taken.

This excursion begins at our office and the first stop will be La Misión, now a neighborhood in the city but also a historic site once occupied by both the native people and the first missionaries who arrived in the region. Here, we will see remnants of the settlement and admire the imposing Andes Mountains at the edge of the Beagle Channel. During the tour, our guide will continue to share the story of the city’s evolution and history as we visit iconic landmarks such as the old airport, the giant letter sign with the city’s name, the port, the Maritime and Prison Museum of Ushuaia, and the Martial Glacier Reserve. Departure from the hotel towards the Tierra Mayor Valley, in this great snow-covered valley we begin the journey in sleds pulled by Huskies, after crossing the valley we enter the forest by an old lumberjack path, in the middle of this hundred-year-old Lenga forest we arrive at the refuge del Hachero (small log cabin heated by firewood). We say goodbye to the Huskies and our guide helps us put on our snowshoes (without which we would not be able to walk due to the thickness of the snow that normally reaches a meter), the objective: The Alvear Icefall and the Valle viewpoint, the Returning to the refuge is faster and more fun since it is downhill and culminates in the Hachero refuge. In the refuge we recover energy with a hot chocolate. From the logger's refuge we return to the Tierra Mayor valley walking with snowshoes.

A classic adventure at the End of the World, an accessible hike to an Emerald Lagoon. The excursion starts at the hotel and goes to Mirador Valle Carbajal, where you will be able to appreciate the peat bogs, with an impressive view of the mountain range and the mountain glaciers. You will make a technical stop at a winter center. Returning to route 3, you will continue the trip reaching the crossing of the Andes mountain range through the Garibaldi pass, the southern and terminal portion of the extensive Andes mountain range. Towards mid-morning you will arrive at Puesto La Carmen: you will have a hot drink and walk along the shore of Lake Fagnano, also called by the Onas "The rest of the horizon", because the imaginary line of the horizon formed by the mountain range is interrupted by the lake, and then continue on the other side. Towards noon you will arrive at the Garibaldi pass viewpoint to observe Lago Escondido from above. You will return to the winter center for lunch and then return to the city of Ushuaia.
