On this self guided audio tour, I’ll introduce you to people who were once some of Lisbon’s most influential citizens, from politicians and businessmen to artists and aristocrats. I’ll also tell you about the architects, artists and masons who left a mark here with their work, by helping to construct the elaborate mausoleums and tombs that line the cemetery’s alleys, in the shade of centenary cypress trees.

This one-hour introductory tour to Prague Castle gives you a quick orientation of the city and its most significant monument. Your guide will meet you in front of the Prague Castle area. After getting the basic overview of its history and presence, just skip the ticket line and explore the impressive interiors of St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica and the Golden Lane at your own pace! Please note, on special occasions (e. g. state visits), parts of the Castle might be closed to visitors. St. Vitus Cathedral is regularly closed every Sunday morning (church services) and the Old Royal Palace for several days around October 28 (state awards ceremony). The interiors are open 9:00–17:00 during the summer season (April – October) and 9:00–16:00 during the winter season (November – March).
