Towards Sea

We will start from the bridges of Ortigia and enter the "great port" of Syracuse and the beautiful alfeo seafront of Ortigia. Next we will leave the port to circumnavigate around the island and admire the monuments located along the coast. We will leave Ortigia to head towards the coast north of Syracuse to go and see the beautiful sea caves. We will then return from the "small port" to navigate the Ortigia channel that divides the island from the city and we will pass under the bridges to return to the starting point. the visit is guided and a historical and geographical explanation is provided. In addition, it is possible to stop for a swim. The tour lasts about 1 hour and 10/20 minutes.

The hours just before sunset offer the best time for paddling on the waters of Casco Bay. The sky tends to explode with color and the seas often become glassy and calm. This trip involves a leisurely paddle just far enough along the waterfront or into the islands to enjoy a panoramic view of the sun setting over the city as we paddle back to the East End Beach.  This two-hour tour is designed for paddlers of all experience levels — including first-time kayakers. The exact route you take will depend on the weather conditions and the group's interests and experience, but the Sunset Tour often starts out venturing into the waterfront of Portland harbor, and then into the open waters towards the islands of Casco Bay. We will cancel this tour if there is steady rain, strong winds or other conditions that we believe will prevent guests from having a great paddling experience. However, we will run our tours when there are light showers, overcast skies or cooler than average temperatures.

We then head along the coastline, passing Fig Tree Bay before arriving in the Cape Greco area and the beautiful blue Lagoon. Departure from the Umbertino bridge, continuing from the small port of S. Lucia we head towards the sea caves and the heart-shaped cave (Syracuse side). After that we continue along the Alfeo seafront on the island of Ortigia, we will admire the Maniace Castle and the Aretusa spring where it is possible to take a short stop with a bathroom and photograph the beautiful panorama it offers us .. ending the tour at the large port, the Marina and passing under the Umbertino bridge.

The tour lasts 2h and will allow you to fully enjoy the beauties of Syracuse. We will leave from Ortigia, completely circumnavigating the island to head towards the sea caves north of Syracuse. Then we will enter the small port and crossing the Ortigia canal and passing under the bridges we will pass to the large port of Syracuse heading towards the south coast. We will cross the huge port of Syracuse to head towards the island and minaret areas and then return back to the starting point. The tour includes a bathroom stop

Having only 2 hours at your disposal, the "Island & sea caves" excursion is exactly what we recommend; after embarking, we head towards the big port. You will begin to see the majesty of the large port, which is one of the largest natural ports in the Mediterranean, immediately afterwards we will see the Arethusa fountain with its charm from the sea and the immense Maniace castle that indicates the exit of the port. After leaving the island, we head towards the north coast of Syracuse where, between a sip of fresh juice and tasting of excellent fresh fruit, we approach the caves where we immediately start with a beautiful 10-minute swim stop. After having cooled down a bit, we begin to enter the various caves: the capuchin cave, the coral cave and finally the large cave, also known as the stalactite cave, yes, because inside during the times suggestive limestone shapes were formed that we will reveal only when you will be on board.

The experience will be on board an 11.5 meter long yacht with fly bridge and ample indoor and outdoor space. We depart Ucagiz at 09:00 am with motorized support vessel to escort us, and paddle southwest down the coast towards the Kekova Island and arrive Tersane bay at 10:15 am and followed by a swimming break. From there the group will slowly paddle over the ancient Lycian Kekova. Since this is a protected area, swimming is not permitted here. So what better way to explore the Sunken City than by Kayaking alongside the ruins; giving you the chance to capture unforgettable photos. After an exciting of adventure, we’ll head to Simena and arrive at 11:30 am, park in Kaleköy (ancient Simena Castle) for 45 mins, giving you time to visit this small authentic village that’s home to castle ruins and a necropolis. A hike up the hillside will give you magnificent views of the Kekova region. In the afternoon we head back towards Theimussa for an up close view of more impressive Lycian sarcophagi and then return to our Kayak base. Following this you will move on to Üçağiz to enjoy lunch at 13:15 pm

Starting from the historic center of the city of Ribera towards the castle of Poggio Diana, it will be possible to admire the Canyon of the Verdura river. You will immerse yourself in the wildest areas of the hinterland, through paths accessible only with this type of vehicle. You will cross river fords and underpasses and then go up the plateaus, with a breathtaking view. From a hill close to the prestigious "Verdura Resort" you will admire scenarios ranging from the Saccensi coasts to the coast of Eraclea Minoa. Continuing along the evocative and wild coast of Piana Grande, we will then begin to return to the headquarters.

We will start from the Ortigia canal and leave the small port to go towards Syracuse sea caves, we will visit the caves of the capuchins, the corals, the heart and the stalactites. Subsequently we will return to the island of Ortigia to circumnavigate it, admiring the moments and telling geographical/historical information about the city of Syracuse. They return from the large port and we will return again to the Ortigia canal where we started. During the tour it will be possible to see some points of interest from the sea such as: the cathedral of the cathedral, Fonte Aretusa, Castello Maniace, the eastern seafront, the western seafront, the Marina, the Sanctuary of the Madonna, and the Bourbon prison, etc. It will also be possible to take a short 10 minute swim break.

Our MANAVGAT/SİDE fishing tours start early in the morning, our customers are picked up from their hotels at 06:00 in the morning and we go to the Manavgat Stream where our boat is located and set out towards the Mediterranean with our 12-meter wooden boat.
