Private Guided Equator Tour Experience Uganda

Rated 5 Stars, based on 3 Reviews.
Uganda is one of the few countries in the world where the Imaginary line that divides the earth into two halves (The Equator) passes. It being one of the most and well-known landmarks in Uganda, many people come here from different parts of the world to feel the lighter-weight experience and many other things and be able to stand on the two Hemispheres that make our world.
Lighter weight!!
It’s true, you will find out that your 3% lighter at the equator line. Why? This comes about because; weight is a force of which gravity acts on mass. Along this line, anyone’s weight will be less by 0.5% thus gravity is 0.5 % less at the Equator. This is inclined to the earth not being a perfect sphere. At the poles, it is flattened. You will be a few tons of kilometers away from the center of the earth while standing at the equator unlike when standing at the poles. Gravity is therefore only slightly less at the equator because it falls off with distance.

1 Day Uganda Equator Tour.

Uganda's equator is one of the most well-known landmarks in Uganda.” The intersection of the earth’s surface with the plane perpendicular to the earth’s axis of rotation & containing the earth’s center of mass” is what Wikipedia sometimes refers to the equator as, but it is still the imaginary line that divides the world into 2halves. The Equator is an imaginary line that is seen on maps marking the equidistant from the North & South Poles. Along the imaginary line of the equator, a magnetic needle has no dip and stabilizes in a perfectly horizontal position. You are able to stand with one of your feet in the northern hemisphere & the other in the southern hemisphere at this point; it is such an amazing experience to stand on both sides of the world. The sun rises & falls rather so fast at the equator, with equal days & nights’ length. The people around the equator experience only warm temperatures & tropical climates throughout the year.
A Tour To Uganda Equator

THE ACTUAL EXPERIMENT ABOUT UGANDA EQUATOR WILL BE AS FOLLOWS
Our Guide will point out where the 0 degrees latitude crosses, point out the southern hemisphere and also the northern hemisphere. With the help of the magnetic fields and the water used, he will show you that in the Northern pole, the water will sink out through the hole in the clockwise angle. However, in the southern pole, the water will sink down the hole in a counter-clockwise as caused by the magnetic fields.
The experience is finished off with the water sinking at the 0 degrees latitude straight down, proving that that is the imaginary line that crosses the whole world. This is as simple as it sounds but the experience is in a way mind blowing as you see with proving how the water is sucked down in all different directions.
