From there you'll be taken “Downtown Positano” with its fine shops and restaurants down to another delightful beach. Start to walk uphill where you’ll find lots of ceramic shops on this street, sandal and shoe makers, along with galleries featuring the work of local artists. You will approach the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, originally the abbey of Positano’s 10th-century Benedictine monastery. Across the lane, Hotel Palazzo Murat fills what was once a grand Benedictine monastery. The tour will end at the best pastry shop of the town, where we will taste delicacies such as the Lemon Delice, Tiramisù or the Rhum Baba.

This evening on a small group we will drive along Italy's most beautiful coastal road to Positano. Time for shopping and a drink with appetizers served in a restaurant overlooking the sea, will complete the program of the tour.

We will stop in the most breathtaking areas of the island; our tour includes gorgeous places such as the Green Grotto, the Heart Grotto, Punta Carena Lighthouse, Tiberio’s Jump, and Villa Malaparte. Passing in the middle of Faraglioni rocks, the old lighthouse of the island is a symbol of Capri. In the first part of the tour, we will stop outside the Blue Grotto and White Grotto. Many stops provide snorkeling equipment. Then sail along the Amalfi Coast in the beautiful bay of Nerano, in the specially protected area called Le Mortelle, where we will offer you a special appetizer. At lunchtime, if you want, we can offer you a skip-the-line service with a reservation in advance in one of the best restaurants in the area: Lo Scoglio, Il Cantuccio, Maria Grazia, or La Conca del Sogno. Along the Amalfi coast, we will reach the cove of Crapolla and Isca's Island and dive inside the fisherman’s grotto. We will say goodbye, offering you a glass of homemade limoncello.

After the departure from Sorrento, we will head towards Meta from where we will proceed for 5 km uphill towards the Colli di San Pietro and the coastal highway 163 in the direction of the Amalfi Coast. The first part of the highway is completely downhill, a road full of curves and breathtaking views. It will be difficult not to linger several times for some souvenir photos. Before reaching Positano, we will have to climb a 1.5 km climb, but we will not feel the effort, taken by the enthusiasm to reach the coastal pearl where we will stop briefly after which we will return to Sorrento. Along the way back we will then head towards the highest area of the Sorrento peninsula, the Picco Sant’Angelo, a short but demanding climb. Once we reach the top, we will stop for a few minutes to admire the panorama of the gulfs of Salerno and Naples. From Picco Sant’Angelo we will return to Sorrento along the scenic Via Nastro Verde.
