Our exciting half-day journey starts when we meet you at your hotel's lobby. A certified bilingual guide will take you through the history and culture of Monte Albán, which is a major urban center built by the Zapotec Culture. It is the most important archaeological site in Oaxaca, and it has been proclaimed Cultural Heritage of Humanity along with the City of Oaxaca by UNESCO on December 11th, 1997. The journey ends around 12:00 p.m., when we drop you off downtown, at your hotel's lobby. Just in time to taste a delicious lunch at one of our local restaurants

Hike to Monte Albán at Sunrise


It is the only short hike in the mountains of the city and from here you can spend an incredible morning with the view of the valley at sunrise without having to spend a whole day traveling, you can also visit the archaeological zone at the end of your hike. We have been doing the walks for more than 3 years and you will be able to hear the legends and stories of those of us who live near the archaeological zone. You can take a taxi or a bus to return to the city, it is the perfect way to enjoy the city, climb a mountain and also see the Zapotec city. The activity only takes 2 and a half hours, so if you have other activities in your day you can do them without having to allocate a whole day to an incredible hike in the mountains of Oaxaca.


Mont Saint Michel Experience


Discover the Mont Saint Michel, the jewels of Normandy classified by the UNESCO World Wild Heritage. • In the year of 709 AD and by the request of the Archangel Michel, the bishop Auber (from Avranches) built a small church and settled a communnity of Benedictines on the rock. By the request of the Duke of Normandy and the pre-Romanesque, the church was built before the year one thousand. • Monks and Nuns from "Les Fraternités Monastiques de Jérusalem" have been ensuring a spiritual presence since the year 2001. • Discover the Abbey, the jails and the tight streets. Have enought time to have your lunch inside the fortificated village, and also, enjoy the gift shops.  Your will discover also during your journey the wonderfull countryside of Normandy in a very confortable air conditioned mini bus with a maximum of 8 persons and of course, enjoying your day with a profesional english speaking driver.

Eira do Serrado – Monte


The first stop is at the Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint. Here you can see the landscape over Funchal Bay and the mountains. Then we go up to Eira do Serrado (1053 meters high) where there is a panorama over the parish of Curral das Freiras. Access to the viewpoint is via a footpath. After visiting this point, we left for Monte known for its gardens and the Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte.
