HIking approx. 6,4 km (3.8 miles), on trails made in 19th century, when the area was occupied by coffee farms and you’ll discover and learn the history of Tijuca National Park, one of the largest replanted urban forest in the planet. Along the way we visit Cascatinha Taunay (highes waterfall in the park), the Mayrink Chapel (from 1850), the Cova da Onça Bridge, the Eucalyptus Forest (an old slave cemetery) and the Bats’s Grotto (biggest gneiss cave in Brazil). After that you cool off at Baronesa Cascade waterfall, and start descending to the starting point and on the way visitng some other historical attractions of the park.
