Adventure with a marine biology educator along the coast and learn more about wildlife living in the intertidal zone of San Diego. Great for all ages and skill levels. There are some stairs and lots of uneven terrain we will walk on, so this is not a wheelchair-friendly activity. I taught middle and high school marine biology for more than a decade before committing to environmental tourism! With fifteen years of teaching youth and adults in outdoor education settings, plus my background in conservation biology, provides guests with in-depth (pun intended) knowledge of marine life during our tide pool exploration. Groups are kept small (10 people maximum, with exceptions for private groups/families) which makes this a more intimate and personal experience.

Amazing instructors Our experienced and certified instructors with an ISA or FPS license will coach you and ensure you a great time on the water. Surf Theory At the beginning of the surf course, you will get to know the characteristics of the waves, currents and tides. Your surf instructor will also tell you the basics about the surf equipment. Modern equipment Our surf school is equipped with easy-to-use soft boards, which ensure the necessary safety on the water. The long and comfortable neoprene suitsfrom Billabong and Ocean and Earth offer you the best possible freedom of movement and keep you warm in the water for a while.

Welcome to a guided tour through the Preciosa Platanares Wild Life Refuge, the mangrove is both relaxing and amazing. The mangroves are small forest with plants and animals adapted to live immersed  in brackish water, influenced by the tides, hosting lots of life, this wonderful forest will be explore in the tour. This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim! Our 20 mile (32 km) Bridges bike tour follows the picturesque shores of the Firth Of Forth. We pass through the ancient village of Cramond, with it's rich 3000 year history dating back to Romans and iron age. A ride through a rural country estate with its very own stately home, a castle, plenty of sheep, and maybe even a Highland Cow! We visit the pictuesque Royal Burgh of South Queensferry for coffee and cake, topped off with a cycle over the Forth Road Bridge with spectacular views of this UNESCO world heritage site and beyond. The Surf Lessons are offered 7 days a week all year round. We find the best location depending on tides and the surf break conditions choosing the best spot on the Bukit’s peninsula of Bali for every lesson. You will find infinite waves in this surfer's paradise.

Discover a world of marine science and one of the best snorkeling spots in the Hilo region at this family-friendly beach park. The only black-sand beach in the Hilo region provides relaxed swimming, sheltered rock pools for beautiful snorkeling and excellent surfing. Lava from Mauna Kea has formed a natural seawall at Richardson Ocean Park, making it a sheltered beach that is perfect snorkeling with giant sea turtles, monk seals and abundant sea life. Rock pools that fill at high tide make for shallow, detached swimming holes at low tide. Snorkel in the pools, without the stress of swell or currents.  

We are a school duly certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and dedicated to teaching surfing and bodyboarding on the beaches of Maçãs and Praia Grande, in the emblematic area of Sintra. Classes take place between these beaches and Carcavelos beach, depending on sea conditions. Our Aqua-Safari's are catered to all ability levels. Using the wind, tides, and dynamics of the group to ensure the most enjoyable paddling experience. We feel that a 4 hour tour gives adequate time for relaxation, wildlife viewing, and interpretation from our professional Registered Maine Guide staff. Your Registered Maine Guide will decide which route will be the most enjoyable and safest based on wind direction/velocity, visibility and tides. We paddle Western Bay (Pretty Marsh), Blue Hill Bay, and Somes Sound. Most tours are one-way. Occasionally, a tour might be round trip. Your guide will stop on a coastal beach for a short lunch break. Maine State Sea Kayak specializes in quality Ecological Sea Kayak Tours. Tandems are most commonly used versus single kayaks

Get the essential kayaking skills! Fully qualified and experienced kayak instructors are available to help develop your technical paddling skills. Learn about kayak safety, the variety of kayaking equipment and environments, tides and weather, navigation, rescue techniques, or develop advanced skills!

For more than 10 yeas we've provided this is private, 2-hour lesson on your schedule. And we can provide beach chairs, umbrellas, canopies, beach games, everything for the beach! Meet your experienced instructor at your hotel or at a beachside park if you’re not staying in town. We recommend Lori Wilson Park typically. Rental of a custom-fitted surfboard is included, and additional surfboard rental time after the lesson can be provided, upon request. If you're here on a port of call stop with a cruise ship, we'll meet you at the ship's provided beach location, if they provide transporation. Who qualifies for this activity This activity is for one beach dive fo certified divers with a valid scuba diving licence who have dive within the last 6 months who have a reasonable fitness level and do not have any medical conditions whatsoever that may impair your health. Certified divers should have private medical insurance cover for scuba diving in Thailand.
