The Bicentennial Mall is one of Nashville’s premier tourist destinations. On this self-guided walking tour, you’ll experience a performance of the Tennessee Carillon, stroll down the Walkway of Counties, visit the 200-feet wide map of the state, and learn about the State Capitol building. The St. Johns River offers diverse scenery and an abundance of wildlife and the spring run is a designated manatee refuge. During extremely cold weather, over 300 manatees have been counted in the short run. The river on either side of the run is designated as a "No Wake Zone," making this area of the St. Johns GREAT for kayaking and canoeing.
