The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of the city. The tourist is guided by a Foodie, a local buddy able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities. Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible. The Sicilian Pantry is a family run cookery school located in the heart of the Historical centre of Palermo. We offer daily market tours & cookery lessons of traditional Sicilian dishes. We meet in the morning at one of Palermo’s oldest markets, shop around for any items we will need for the lesson and then stroll to the air-conditioned school kitchen where we prepare a 4 course Sicilian meal, learning the techniques & tricks needed to recreate it when you return home. After the lesson we can sit down together to enjoy our efforts along with a selection of Sicilian wines rounded off with some homemade liqueurs & coffee We believe that the true expression of Sicilian cuisine comes from the quality of its fresh seasonal produce so we strive to always ensure that we have the best of what Sicily has to offer in order to share this with our guests This is an entertaining and informative day out, recommended for cooks of all levels We meet at 10:00 & lessons typically end around 14:30

Sicily is famous for its delicious street food. In this tour we combine the vist of one the most beautiful sicilian town, that's Taormina, and the vist of the town of the Strait, that's Messina. During the visit of Messina we stop in 2 different very famous street food place, to taste the famous rice ball of Messina and the delicious "cannolo siciliano"

Mine is a typically Sicilian and generally Italian cuisine, with local and top quality products, the result of your experience will be in the dish that you have cooked yourself. Wine & Cheese is a tasting for those who want to approach the world of regional cuisine and at the same time visiting some of the most beautiful monumental areas of the old city. The tasting is conducted by our Wine Expert guide and includes a brief guided walk of about 30-45 minutes to admire some of the most interesting monumental sites of the city (about 1 km), up until reaching a renowned wine Bar in a sophisticated environment, where you will be waited in order to start the joint tasting, served with elegant cutlery and glasses, of five types of excellent quality Sicilian cheese, from the freshest to the most aged, almond cookies and six important wines representative of the main local varieties, such as Nero d’Avola and Catarratto, and a dessert wine. The Sicilian wine, of secular tradition, has won over in recent decades the markets all over the world and the dairy Sicilian tradition is one of the oldest and most appreciated in Italy.

The tour will be dedicated to tasting Sicilian Street Food, we will visit the Ortigia Market chatting with the locals, guiding you to discover tradition and our culture. The tasting will include various samples of street food in 3 different typical Sicilian restaurants that use refined and genuine raw materials. The tour also includes a small tasting of two Sicilian wines. Our multilingual guides will accompany you to make this experience unique, walking through the hidden alleys of the island of Ortigia and savoring the local specialties. It is possible to add to the excursion a historical tour of Ortigia guided by one of our qualified guides. The guided tour option is available with an addition to the price.

The experience culminates in a hands-on activity where you’ll bottle, cork, and label your own bottle of our finest wine, creating a personalized keepsake to remember your time with us.
