The 3-Hr Shell Island Snorkel & Dolphin Cruise aboard the Island Time Sailing Catamaran is a great way to have fun in the sun and enjoy the best of what Panama City Beach has to offer! Cruise over to Shell Island where you and the whole family can snorkel to find exciting shells and sea life, swim up to the island to explore or paddle board around the boat. After about an hour you will depart the island to head out to the Gulf for sightseeing and dolphin watching and sailing! The cruise ends with contests and dancing. We offer 2 different catamarans for this trip. They are very similar, but have a few differences. The "Island Time" is equipped with a water slide and no over the water nets. While the "Island Time II" has over the water nets located in the front of the boat and no water slide.  (Please note: This tour departs from Panama City Beach, FL, which is about 3 hours East of Pensacola.)

Our Shell Island Dolphin Tour is Panama City Beach's only partially guided jet ski tour. After arrival and check-in, our experienced staff will give some safety and trip instructions. Once we are on the water, we will embark on a fast-paced adventure in the emerald waters of St. Andrews Bay. Weather permitting, we will enter the Gulf of Mexico on a hunt for wildlife. Dolphins are our main attraction, but sea turtles, manatees, rays, fish, and crabs are just some of the species that have been seen in the water. We will then circle back to the bay side of Shell Island for a quick break. The pristine beaches of Shell Island provide the perfect spot to catch your breath before taking off for some more riding. At this time, guests will take off on their own for some exploring. Guests are welcome to spend this time continuing to ride their jet ski, walking on the beach or swimming in the bay. With about 15 minutes remaining guests will gather and follow the guide back across the bay.

Our 3hr Shell Key Shelling Trip is offered from Hubbard’s Marina inside Johns Pass and offers around one hour on the island exploring and shelling with around an hour ride down the back protected bay waters on a relaxing, safe, and fun trip onboard the HUB Cat 49. On the ride back to Johns Pass, we will cruise up our beautiful gulf beaches when weather allows, if it’s a little bumpy the ride back will also be in the back protected bay waters. We will often spot dolphins, seabirds, manatees and other wildlife on the ride out and back!

We'll begin this adventure with a sail through the Grand Lagoon area to our own private playground area off of Shell Island. Once you arrive, you'll enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and an inflatable water park equipped with trampolines, water slides, seesaw ball and more on this 3 hour adventure cruise! At the end of the tour, we'll go looking for dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico. All activities and use of equipment are included. Additional snacks and beverages can be purchased as well. Food can be brought on to the catamaran, but no outside beverages are allowed.

Shell Island which is the 700-acre barrier island protecting the waters of St. Andrews Bay in Panama City. Its seaward shoreline is comprised of beautiful sandy beaches that are perfect for shelling, sunbathing, and exploring.

You will be safely brought deep into the 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge for a two-hour interpretive tour of the area led by a Florida Master Naturalist. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds. You will visit an uninhabited barrier island where you can collect shells, sand dollars and other treasures! Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Nature enthusiasts will love the Gordon River, a masterpiece of Florida wildlife with miles of life-sustaining estuaries surrounded by beautiful Mangroves.  Wildlife fans must have their cameras ready to capture the beautiful birds, dolphins and possible alligators and manatees we will see along the way.  This 3-hour cruise to Keewaydin, a barrier island that tops the 10,000 island chain, is a MUST DO experience! Our Marco Island Sightseeing and Shelling Tour departs from the Goodland Boat Park, in Goodland, FL. On our two hour ecotour you will experience one of the most popular adventures we are known for, we will take you for an exciting and scenic cruise through the Ten Thousand Islands, where our Captains and Guides will provide information about the ecology of this unique ecosystem. After cruising through the mangrove islands, we will stop on a private beach in search of the most exotic tropical sea shells that the Gulf coast is known for. This is a very informational adventure that will keep small children and adults engaged the whole time. Please note: Everyone in your party must sign the electronic waiver located on your voucher before arriving to your Boat Tour. Please note that a ticket must be purchased for every individual in your party, this includes toddlers ages 0+

Our Shell Island and dolphin tour is fun for families of all ages, the tour includes a stop at Shell Key preserve, a popular nature preserve known for numerous different types of shells. Snorkeling equipment is available for use at Shell Island. Please note that snorkeling at the Island is not always possible due to weather conditions. During the tour we will be looking out for wild dolphins, numerous dolphins inhabit the waters around the area. Our vessel is a US Coast Guard inspected vessel carrying up to 42 passengers. The vessel is easy to board both at our dock and the beach. The boat also offers plenty of shade for those trying to stay out of the sun and it is also equipped with a restroom. Please arrive at our location no LATER THAN 1.15pm

The trip is a 3 hour snorkeling/dolphin tour guided by Capt. Ashley Bishop, a former marine mammal trainer. Customers will get to experience dolphins up close and personal and explore parts of our area that are only accessible by boat. We typically spend half the trip exploring Shell Island, a 7 mile long uninhabited island. You can relax on the beach, look for sea shells, snorkel, or any number of activities. Come enjoy a relaxing experience away from the crowded beaches and shopping areas and enjoy a dolphin tour on our 27ft boat the largest and fastest private tour around.

Hi, I'm Scott. Karissa and I are the owners and only guides at Island Kayak Tours. We will guide you through the mangrove tunnels (tide permitting) and time your adventure just right to give you the best chance at seeing dolphins & manatees. There is also free time for you to explore Shell Key Island, whether that means shelling, swimming, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the view. Our tours take place in a shallow saltwater preserve. There are no alligators, and most of the water is knee to waist-deep; perfect for both beginners and experts. All the experience I have from growing up here in St. Petersburg has given me the opportunity to put together a kayak tour like no other. Kayaking has always been one of my favorite things to do around the area. This has allowed me the opportunity to find all the best kayaking spots and to accumulate the local knowledge to give you a true Florida experience.
