On our morning trips we head out on our 2022 51' catamaran the Calypso to the beautiful John Pennekamp Coral Park and snorkel two different reefs for 45 minutes at each site. The reefs we visit are no deeper than 25' which is great for snorkelers, and the same reefs come up to as shallow as 5-10' from the surface in some parts which makes it perfect for our snorkelers – both kids and adults. We visit some of the most popular sites including Christ of the Abyss, Horseshoe Reef, Grecian Rocks, Banana Reef and more daily (weather conditions and mooring space permitting at the dive sites). Open Water Diving Course in Marsa Alam Take your first step toward becoming a certified diver with the Open Water Diver (OWD) course in Marsa Alam. This 3-day program includes a mix of theory, DVD learning, and hands-on practice in the pool or shallow waters on Day 1. On the following days, you'll embark on boat trips for real dives. You can also choose to start Day 1 with an introductory dive directly from the boat. The DVD can be watched at your hotel in the evening (don't forget your laptop) or during the boat trip.
