On your way to the Belegrade from Sarajevo, or vice versa, it is great idea to see some of the must see attractions of Eastern Bosnia / Western Serbia- Visegrad, Andricgrad and Drvengrad. First of them is Visegrad, that has long and rich history. The thing that makes it special is the famous UNESCO protected Old Stone Bridge, the endowment of Grand Vizier Mehmed Pasha Sokolovic. Next stop is Andricgrad-known as Kamengrad or Stone city. It is a project of famous film director Emir Kusturica, inspired by Nobel prize winner, Ivo Andric. Also, you will visit Ethno Village Drvengrad-means Wooden city, which beauty will left you withouth a breath. Another thing you will definitely enjoy is Mokra Gora, the most unique Sargan Eight ride – an old-fashioned narrow-gauge railway. An English-speaking guide will pick you up from the meeting point in Sofia at 9:00AM and, after about a 2-hours drive with various landscapes to admire along the way, you will reach the Serbian border. After crossing the border you will go the nearby town of Bosilegrad (the former Yugoslavia's main state) before you cross back over the border with Bulgaria and head for Northern Macedonia. After another short drive, you will arrive at the beautiful Monastery of Osogovo – an incredibly powerful place in the hills from the 12th Century, which was later turned into a mosque by the Ottomans, and then again converted into a church. The tour starts from your hotel. The first stop will be Boyana Church, situated in Sofia. Afterwards head toward Poganovo Monastery in Serbia.  After approximately two and a half hours transfer you reach your destination.
