Both waterfalls can be reached within 15 minutes walking from each other. Sendang Gile is named after the folklore in Senaru, which was taken from a story of a prince who hid behind the waterfall. While, Tiu Kelep is taken from the local Sasak language, Tiu means a pool and Kelep means flying.
