We are visiting the fantastic Trollfjord: The Trollfjord is one of the most visited nature attractions in Lofoten. The fjord is a sidearm the Raftsund east in Lofoten. The fjord is 2 km long, and only 100 meters wide at the most narrow. The steep mountains surrounding the fjord are between 600 and 1100 metres high. The fjord has also played an important part in our fisheries. The battle of the Trollfjord in 1890 is immortalized through Johan Bojer`s novel, «The Last Viking», and one of painter Gunnar Berg`s (1863-1893) main works. This cruise takes you on an adventure in to the wilderness. Starting in the busy Glenfinnan area where we describe all the sights and detail the history of the village both old and modern. We soon whisk you off down the loch to the land of eagles, deer, Harry Potter landmarks and the home of the MacDonalds of Glenaladale. Gaskan cottage was the home of well known naturalist Mike Tomkies for many years whilst he studied and wrote of the local wildlife, especially the eagles and wildcats there. It can only be accessed by boat or very long walk so this part of the loch is very serene and unspoilt. This cruise returns to Glenfinnan jetty.

Your adventure starts with a minibus picking you up from your hotel. First, you'll stop by the Koprucay River. Here, you can relax, have a tasty lunch, and enjoy 45 minutes to explore on your own. Next, you'll visit an old Roman bridge where you can take amazing photos and learn its history from your guide. Then, you'll reach the ancient city of Selge. You'll have 40 minutes to soak in the unique atmosphere and hear interesting stories from your guide. After a photo session at the Roman Aqueducts, you'll head to Eagle Canyon. You'll go on a short hike with your guide to get to the canyon. Exploring this cool place, you'll create memories to cherish. Finally, the drive back to your hotel will begin, and you'll likely return around 5-6 PM with unforgettable memories.
