Discover Scotland Off the Beaten Track

Rated 4.8 Stars, based on 6 Reviews.
We will go to the place called Loup of Fintry, which is one of the most spectacular waterfalls of the lowlands of Scotland. It is a place not very well known to public, it is not a tourist visited place, some locals might know it, but is definitely a hidden gem of Scotland. The route to this place takes you through some amazing countryside scenery that is really showing the true Scottish feeling of untouched nature in its raw beauty.
Once we find the path to the waterfall, we'll go on a short hike on the meadows (might even be greeted by some friendly horses), until we start hearing the roaring sound of the water gushing down the cliffs. It is a spectacular sight even from far. upon arrival to the place, we'll go on an adventure, climbing down and discovering some of the hidden areas of the waterfall, so we can take a closer look and snap some story telling photos that we can show later on to our friends and family.
Slow Food Highland Dining and Storytelling in Inverness

Rated 4.5 Stars, based on 21 Reviews.
Scotland Food and Drink selected my experience as one of the best fifty Food and Drink Experiences in 2025, and I am delighted because it is important for guests visiting the Highlands to eat the best of what the region has to offer, incorporated into traditional recipes, and I can guarantee a thoroughly Highland experience. The Cleikum Social Eating Club has been modelled on the Cleikum referred to in Sir Walter Scott’s “St. Ronan’s Well”, and who did more than the latter to introduce the Highlands for romantic destination travel?
I was born and brought up in Inverness, and am enthusiastic about the visiting potential of this area, and know it well.
I was a hostess/guide in the observation car of the Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh during the summer season when I was at University. I provided a running commentary during the journey, and helped travellers with suggestions on where to eat on arrival, what they should see in the area, and information on the Isle of Skye.
