Get to know the history Tromsø as the world's northernmost brewery hub and become acquainted with the flavours of the North. This is the perfect tour for everyone are passionate or curious about quality beer. We will visit Tromsø's historical city centre, two pubs and a micro brewery, and sample 10 locally produced beers and Arctic tapas in traditional, cosy settings, which are closely interlinked with the maritime history of Tromsø. On the way we get a chance to see a selection of the most important sights our city has to offer, such as the world's northernmost cathedrals, traditional wooden houses, and another local microbrewery. We will even encounter the spot with the highest density of attractions in all of Tromsø! The final stop of our tour will be a traditional local pub, whose atmosphere reflects the maritime heritage of our city. There we are invited to taste the last batch of in total 10 products from Arctic craft breweries, together with a selection of Arctic tapas.

Please be aware that between April 15th and 20th, the viewing of the northern lights will be affected by increased daylight hours and the duration of the tour may be shorter as well. This means that even on clear skies, the northern lights may not appear as strong as they do during winter (polar nights). 50% discount is offered for your next Aurora tour, if you did not see the Aurora on your first tour (booked at our desk, upon availability). Please check our terms Based on constantly updated weather and solar activity reports, our guides take you to where the chances to see the lights are the highest. A professional photographer helps you to capture the Northern Lights on your camera. You will also be able to request a professional portrait of you with the aurora (optional). The tour does not have a pre-determined itinerary but adapts flexibly according to the visibility conditions found on the way. We may also stay in the same place if the weather conditions prove to be better there
