Join this 4-hour rock climbing session for an authentic mountain experience. Meet at your local operator's office in Jasper and travel a short distance to a perfect limestone wall next to the Athabasca river – Morro Slabs. Once at the site, you will receive some instruction on gear and techniques. Trips run daily from June 5 – September 15.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 9:00am to 9:30am. Then, we'll be heading to the crag, located in the upper part of Cusco city, about 40 minutes away. Along the route your guide will be explaining you some local traditions and also you’ll be available to take some photos. When we arrive we’ll walk for a few minutes to reach the crag. Afterwards your climbing guide will provide you the climbing gears (Helmet, Harness, climbing shoes) following by the safety talk about the climbing activity. Then, you’ll start climbing different routes, from the beginners to the advanced routes trying as many times as you can, after your picnic lunch you will take the bus returning to Cusco, it will drop off you at the same place we pick you up.

I will help customers advance their rock-climbing skills while staying safe and having fun. I work with climbers of all abilities and ages. In addition to helping customers learn about the sport and advance their skills, I am also responsible for ensuring that customers have a good time while climbing. I will spend more face-to-face time with customers than anyone else in the area. I offer assigned private lessons, group lessons, and climbing excursions.

This rock climbing tour involves two different levels depending on your experience. Beginner climbs range in difficulty of 5.5 to 5.8, and use a top-rope setup within 50 feet of the ground. With this technique, you will easily be able to receive instruction and can return to the ground at any time. Intermediate climbs go from 5.7 to 5.9 in level of difficulty. Here, you will use a top-belay setup or multi-pitch techniques. Such set-ups require you to know the belaying technique and general climbing knowledge.

The climbing course will be organized in small group of climbers, offering individual support and coaching. Course is taking place in Soča valley, on one of the climbing areas in beautiful surroundings of Bovec. Our instructor will present you all the equipment, basic climbing steps and safety actions for climbing in pairs. You will eventually start to do safety for your climbing partners, and when feeling comfortable in that, you have time and place to climb the day out. Our instructor will be keeping you bussy till the end of the course, with new challanges and tricks to get better. Enjoy the climb!
