Experience the Ultimate Adventure at River Rapids Jamaica in Trelawny! Your tour starts as you meet your friendly tour guide at check in. Following check in you get geared up and follow your River guide on short walk along the river bank until you approach a beautiful area showcasing an oasis of natural waterfalls, swimming pools, and rock formations. After exploring the waterfalls its time to get into your river tube and start your exciting journey downstream. While floating down the Rio Bueno you will encounter a fun mix of river rapids and calming currents as you travel through the jungle setting of the River Valley. Along the trip there is a chill out spot for you to jump from a platform into the Lagoon. As the river currents fade you jump into a raft for some paddling fun into the the Caribbean Sea towards Bengal Beach, a small private beach where you can relax, take a dip in the warm ocean water, and enjoy some refreshments at the beach bar.

Half an hour east of Portland can be found the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, Multnomah Falls, and some of the most magnificent views in the country; skyscraper cliffs, verdant rainforests, and majestic waterfalls. During the last ice age a cataclysmic event occurred that left a lasting monument along the path of the mighty Columbia River. A great flood sheared away the land, leaving stone cliffs and water falls that form the world famous “Columbia River Gorge”. View the majesty from the Vista House atop 800 foot sheer rock cliffs, see Multnomah Falls, the second tallest year round waterfall in the country, and witness the free-falling splendor of Latourell Falls. In the autumn, watch salmon spawning in Multnomah Creek. This is our favorite tour! One of the most unique experiences in the world, riding down the historic highway built for Model Ts with the spectacular Columbia Gorge unfolding beneath us. We transport our guests and bikes in comfortable vans, and our guides ride with our small groups for much of the ride. You'll get personal attention and the safest experience we can provide. Beyond the 180 years of pioneers and loggers, before the century-old highway, this was the land of people with a rich mythology. We tell the stories that have been told to us by the indigenous people as best we can. You'll visit waterfalls, with engaged hiking and a leisurely approach to the tour itinerary. We want you to enjoy yourself — whether you are traveling alone or with a big group. Ages 13 and up. (We can accommodate much bigger groups traveling together, please reach out!) Guests on this tour will be treated to a scenic drive along the Historic Columbia River Highway and see 4 or 5 unique and breathtaking waterfalls, including world-famous Multnomah Falls. They will enjoy several short walks through secondary and primary old growth forest while learning about the flora and fauna of the region. One of the stops along the way includes the Historic Vista House which allows for amazing photo opportunities. Their guide will provide interesting historical, geological and cultural highlights throughout the tour. Snacks, beverages, luxury van transportation, pick-up and drop-off are included in the price of the tour.

Guest will check-in at the Umauma Visitor Center 45 minutes prior to tour time. Staff will call everyone together at the Visitor Center 15 minutes prior to tour time to go over a short orientation and to meet their guides. Once loaded on the van, guests will arrive approximately 10 minutes later at the destination. Guests will proceed down a "Z" trail to the river destination below. Guest can relax in paradise as they swim, kayak and stand up paddleboard in the beautiful Umauma River. This tour lasts 1.5 hours, and guests will return back at the Visitor Center to conclude the tour.
