2 hour guided private tour around one of the largest marketplaces in Europe with tasting of many different local goods. Located in the heart of Riga, in just a few minute walk distance from Old Town, Riga Central market is one the largest marketplaces in Europe. It was built in the 1920s, inside several large hangars from World War I originally used for military airships, now serving as food pavilions. During the tour you will have degustation at five different sections: Fish: rye bread with sprats, lightly salted herring, local beer or soft drink. Vegetables: different kinds of salted cucumber (1 day, 1 week, 1 month), marinated cabbage (with beets, cranberry, curry), sauerkraut, marinated wild garlic, spicy carrot. Hemp: rye bread with hemp butter. Cheese: different kinds of Latvian cheese – smoked, with cumin, with cranberries. Meat: ham, different kinds of sausages (smoked, with berries, from turkey, pork, chicken), smoked chicken.  

The Riga Beer Bike can carry up to 15 persons and you don’t have to pedal for the full hour you are onboard. 12 will pedal while the other 3 can sit back and enjoy a drink. During the hour long ride, each person will have at least 2 pints. There is a driver who will be staying totally sober, but a bit of your effort needs to be put into the pedalling. There cannot be a better way to see the beautiful City and find out a lot about the place, than travelling on this bike with an English speaking driver. There is a difference between this trip and others, and that is that you have to get there and back by yourself.

You will go into at least 4 pubs during the tour and there will be 3 free beers lined up for you while you are there – three a night not in each pub. The guide will speak English so she can easily tell you about the pub you are in and also a little about the drinks on offer. As there are drinks provided, it is important that you turn up sober or there may be concerns about providing you with the free beverages and that will not do.

Exciting tour where you can meet small family business, that's making more than 30 products from main ingredient – pine cone. During tour you will taste 10 different products- syrup, candy, chocolate, beer, liquor, meringue ang others. We will also cook pine cone jam, that will each guest will keep as a gift in the end of tour. We will also play interactive game and have a lot of fun.

To take away your thirst there will be a first beer provided, and then it is up to you and your mates to get competitive and find out who is the star ten pin bowling player. There is a game for each group and there will be 6 of you in a group. There is no chance to warm up, you have to hit the lanes hot and give it your best bowling right away. This event is not going to take too long, so will not interfere in the time you intend to spend around the bars and enjoying the nightlife. Shoes are provided as part of the deal.

A female guide will pick you up and take you to the brewery. You will spend some time touring the best local brewery and learning all about the process of beer making and then you get the chance to try some of the beers before being returned to your hotel. The guide speaks English so there will be no problem understanding what is being said about the beer production. Tours are run all year long and as with many of the other attraction there needs to be 8 people to book. Once you have finished the tour, you will be ready to go out on the town and enjoy the rest of the day in a happy frame of mind.
