Your tour will depart from Edinburgh with a maximum of 16 people and head to the north-east area of Scotland. The region of Speyside follows the path of the River Spey, stretching from the west of the Cairngorm National Park to the east coast. Boasting an impressive scene of winding lochs, green glens and dramatic peaks, the region has something for everyone. Enjoy visits to four of the region’s famous whisky distilleries, Lindores Abbey, Royal Lochnagar, Glen Moray and Dalwhinnie and enjoy tastings and samples. This is a relaxing day out in a modern luxury van type vehicle with collection from Inverness/Aviemore areas including Airports and Rail Stations thereafter take a chilled drive down to the Speyside area and drive around the distilleries of your choice taking tastings of Whisky at your own pace. Lunch at your own discretion but can be factored in at choice of nice venues . Full Distillery tours may also be factored in subject to availability. We offer private tours to Distilleries that you would like to visit , we have put 3 on this tour but we can customise this tour to suit you. We will inform you in advance which Distilleries are available to visit so if for example we confirm we are going to The Macallan then rest assured we will be going to The Macallan. Our tours include tastings at all 3 Distilleries of at least a total of 9 drams , you do not need to drink all these drams quickly , if you wish The Distilleries will provide you with small bottles so you can take your drams with you. We provide cold bottled water and snacks on our tours also.

Booking a distillery tour on your own is highly discouraged as it will disrupt the itinerary for the day. This full day Private Speyside Whisky Tour includes a Distillery Tour with tastings and tasting flights at another 2 Distilleries. You will Have a Distillery Tour at either Glenfiddich Distillery , Glenlivet Distillery or Glenfarclas Distillery depending on the availability when you make your booking , at the end of the tour you will recieve tutored tastings of their single malts. Included in your tour price is also tutored tastings at another 2 Distilleries of flights of 3 drams. You can choose 2 from the following Distilleries. The Macallan Distillery – Open from Thursdays to Sundays only Glenallachie Distillery Glenfiddich / The Balvenie Glenlivet Distillery Aberlour Distillery Cardhu Distillery In between these visits we will stop for lunch in Craigellachie , where we can have lunch at The Highlander Inn or The Craigellachie Hotel.
